One money order or bank draft (personal cheques, debit or credit cards, and cash are not accepted) made out to the Consulate of Nepal.

PLEASE NOTE: Tourist visas are also issued at various Nepalese border posts (though not every one), including the international airport in Kathmandu. Payment there is in US dollars. If your travel schedule is tight, you are a Canadian passport-holder, and other countries' visas are lengthier processes, the Consulate strongly advises you to get your visa at the border, if you are crossing at a major border point. (For a precise list of visa-issuing border points, see the visa application form.)
Travellers with more extensive inquiries or who require non-tourist visas are advised to contact the Embassy of Nepal in Washington.

Please also note: The information available at this website is intended to supersede any and all Toronto contact information available at various other sites.
The Consulate regrets any confusion that potential tourists, students, and aid workers have experienced when they have sent their passports to other addresses.
